A long-time Symbolic Software client recently gifted me a new M4 MacBook Air (much appreciated!), so I benchmarked it against my trusty M1 Max from 2021.
Stunned at the results, which it accomplishes despite a much smaller wattage and with passive cooling.

Not sure how much I’ll be livetwooting this year. But a good bit from the first narrative talk (Adam Dolin) was that God of War (2018) had a variable cooldown duration for Kratos/Atreus combat banter.
Early in the game they yell reminders at each other a lot. By the end, they do it much less often, because they’re supposed to be good at this now. (As is the player!)

Chuck Schumer cannot protect you from what's coming. He's not built like that.
But if you're honest with yourself, you knew that already.
Just like a Pomeranian cannot protect you from a pack of coyotes. It's not mean to the Pomeranian to say that. The Pomeranian doesn't understand that he's food.

Me to a product leader: your product sucks compared to your competition, here's the side-by-side.
The competition: ~2MB of critical path JS (>6MB unzipped) with React and an effing rainbow table (380K, 770K unzipped) in the main bundle.
React + NPM have now dragged the average so low that you don't even have to be good to win!
