Hey folks! I've been laid off from my ops role at a tech startup and am hunting for something new in ops, PM, or data work.

What I bring to the table: taking on messy, ambiguous problems, building systems that make sense, and using data to figure out what's actually going on. I'm equally happy diving into spreadsheets or running a meeting where everyone leaves knowing what they need to do next.

One other thing about the Signal debacle: The reference in the thread to a document being sent "in your high-side email" demonstrates that these people had access to classified systems and were able to use them. They were not using Signal because they lacked available alternatives.

Signal is more convenient that these systems, which may be the reason. Or it may have been, as many have speculated, to evade federal records laws. But whatever the reason, it wasn't out of operational necessity.

- Excellent protection against third party interception of communications (wiretapping).

- Limited protection against compromised (hacked) or lost devices
