The chill we all got down our backs when we saw these men standing by Trump.

One day they were just tech moguls no one thought to regulate, and the next they were powerful oligarchs?

No.

We let them get this powerful and now Trump will use them to further spy on us and control our communication.

A bunch of big tech leaders standing together at Trump's inauguration.

Since 2020, under Biden's administration, we've had EIGHTY militarized police bases planned, under construction, or built across the country. Biden and his base never said a word about it.

Those cop cities are now in Trump's hands.

Guess what happens the next time they take our rights away and we want to protest? If you've been to a protest in Atlanta, you already know.

I worry that people believe Trump is creating new systems to enforce his inhumane policies. Or that he's breaking his back turning something neutral into fascist.

He's barely breaking a sweat.

Shit, half the time our legal experts can't even agree if the stuff he does is illegal because our government has eroded our rights so much.

How lucky we'd be if Trump had to whip up his own ICE from scratch. Instead he has all the tools he needs, and we got the most productive 100 days in history.

Some more #urltown updates:

1. Profile pages are live. Nothing fancy, but you can see a person’s submissions all in one place, which is nice.

2. A simple stats page is live now: https://url.town/stats

3. You can now edit your submissions with the Edit link that appears beneath anything you’ve added. There’s a small bug involving URL changes that I’m working on, but otherwise it works!

@xor In a previous life, we built a database where the relations mapped to spreadsheets. It was fast enough for humans to enter and review and for printers to print.

Queries were quite slow to set up but fast to evaluate. They were constructed by creating new relations, building the first line out of links, and then doing a copy-paste to fill up the form with them. Good enough that small companies used it for their main ledger.
