Four years ago, a group of insurrectionist losers sacked this building in an attempt to overthrow the US Government and prevent the transfer of power to a newly elected president. They got frighteningly close to succeeding.

This photo was made about six months later; some of the physical damage from the attack remains visible here.

Luego solo hubo silencio.

No te olvidaremos, Oppy.

Wake Me up Before You Go-Go—Wham!
The Trooper—Iron Maiden
Dust in the Wind—Kansas
Here Comes the Sun—The Beatles
Rocket Man—Elton John
Everlong—Foo Fighters
Times Like These—Foo Fighters
Bohemian Rhapsody—Queen
Space Oddity—David Bowie
Life On Mars?—David Bowie
Alive—P.O.D.
Telephone Line—Electric Light Orchestra
Don’t Look Back—Boston
Keep Yourself Alive—Queen
I Will Survive—Gloria Gaynor
(We’re Gonna) Rock Around the Clock—Billy Haley & His Comets
I Won’t Back Down—Tom Petty
Gold Heart Locket—Sam Bush

When we released post editing for #Mastodon, we first released a version that supported processing and displaying edits incoming from other servers, before releasing a version that flipped a switch allowing anyone to make edits. We're taking an identical approach with quote posts, as the upcoming 4.4 version of Mastodon will begin displaying quote posts from other servers and software. Once this is widely deployed on the network, 4.5 will bring the long awaited ability to quote posts.
