A couple mentioned "immigrants." Some mentioned "brown people".

No mention of #Latinos. Even during the LA protests, in a Latino-majority city, no one can bring themselves to say it.

It's like the opposite of the exonerative voice phenomenon. The non-descriptive victim.

But when it was time to blame Latinos for a small uptick in support for Trump, no one had a problem saying Latinos.

We deserve better. We deserve to be acknowledged.

It's not enough to callout ICE. Name the people being exterminated: Latinos/Latines/LatinX. Say it all if you have to.
