Frontal bust drawing of a female demon / devil with pointy ears. Her head, adorned with two sets of horns, is slightly tilted downwards while looking at the viewer. Her long forked tongue is sticking out. Her long hair is curled in two big parts, flowing over her shoulders and covering her breasts. Along her neck black liquid is dripping down, covering neck and shoulders. Her eyes are glowing read and behind her a black rectangle gives a stark contrast.

What's happening right now is not just anti-#immigration. It's anti-#Latino. White immigration is still acceptable in the US.

My family is Puerto Rican. Do you think Steven Miller cares that we're "legal"? Do you think people who support #ICE see us as American?

Immigration is the cover. When all the Latino immigrants are gone, it'll be "anchor babies". Then, eventually, it'll be colonies like Puerto Rico.

It has alway been about the browning of America.

This simple composition was made with a small FF mirrorless camera, 21mm lens, and travel tripod during a short hike.

I didn't have any ND filters with me, so ended up having to shoot this in the bright midday light at f/8. That yields too much DoF to allow focus to separate the tree from the background. But fortunately there was just enough haze to reduce the contrast of the distant hills a bit, yielding a high contrast subject with a lower contrast background. So it worked out in the end.

The average middle aged Mediterranean is more melanoma than regular skin you lads in the US are dying because your government is trying to kill you by using the laxest possible food safety regulations and then making treatment impossible. Starting on June 6th ICE agents swarmed LA's hispanic owned businesses.

There seemed to be immediate community response to protest ICE at these initial raids two days ago.

Initial reports on the 6th suggested that a warehouse owner had successfully locked doors between ICE and employees preventing and slowing their arrest.

I won't stop talking about this. I'm not going to be a good little assimilated Latino who only writes essays about coffee and big tech.

I am Puerto Rican. I am Latino. Of course I'm going to speak up for us. I'm not going to dance around our name.

The architecture is a mix of concrete, metal, and tiled facades in neutral white, gray, and beige tones. Several air conditioning units, pipes, and utility structures are visible on rooftops and exterior walls, giving the buildings a utilitarian and somewhat industrial feel. Notably, there are two rust-colored structures with dramatic angular roofs protruding from a larger building in the background, creating a striking contrast. The overall atmosphere is quiet and overcast, with no visible people or vehicles.

Even though it is Latinos who are actively being hunted by the US government. And not just immigrants.

Latinos are the primary target of American fascism yet, no one will say our name. Why?

@fromjason I enjoyed this post so much. Been looking at the positives and negatives of an expensive espresso machine vs a moka pot, and my conclusion aligns with your blog, that a moka pot with good coffee and the right grind, freshly brewed with love and care, hits the sweet spot compared to the cost and overcomplication of a machine. Perfection is personal, not industrial. Also, I am not a coffee shop, just a groggy guy needing a couple of very good cups to get the day going.

The nondescript victim— Why white liberals wont say “Latino” while ICE hunts us

The last post with a #LatinX hashtag was two months ago. Searching #Latino results in mostly porn, and one Black man posting about #ICE hunting us.

That doesn't mean people aren't speaking out. But most people use the term “immigrant” if they mention a victim at all.

#Latinos have become a nondescript victim, and I want answers.
