I encountered this absolutely stunning goldenrod crab spider (Misumena vatia) in my roses this evening. I’ve never seen one in person before and this felt so special! I can’t get over how gorgeous she is. 😍🌹🕷️
I tried not to bother her too much, but she was definitely unamused by my camera all up in her business. 😅 Sorry lady! I hope you enjoy your stay and that you find lots of snacks! 🥰

I think it took me roughly 25 hours split over 5 evenings to build. I took it really slow and checked and double checked everything. The biggest mistakes were made last night when I was pushing myself to finish it after spending the morning in the heat on a Coffee and POTA activation. That was risky.
If you want to build one. Take the advice on this video and only build it when you're well rested and with a clear focus. The build isn't hard, just long.

Electrical resistance is not the first quantity that comes to mind when thinking about the deep fundamental laws of nature - it's very much associated with materials science.
Yet, there are two places where it occurs in fundamental physics, even winning a Nobel prize:Space itself has an impedance given by the ratio of electric and magnetic fields in a wave - it's roughly 377 Ohms. In fact, antennas can be thought of as impedance matching contraptions.
