Hey everyone! 👋

I’m Mathieu, a 24-year-old freelance UX/UI designer based in France.
I was on the mastodon.design instance for like 2 years, but I just made the move here to social.lol.

I’m really excited about the Fediverse and the way it brings people together across instances, no matter where their accounts live. It feels like the web as it should be 🌍

Big thanks to @adam for welcoming me to such a great server 🙏

Can't wait to connecting with you all! 😄

I've been working on Fedilab and few other open source projects since around 2017. It was a so good experience, having your feedback and your help. At the time I was financially comfortable and it helped me to spend time to develop useful software. But now, I am unfortunately facing some bad events in life. Each month started to be harder for me. I simply don't know how to ask you to help me financially. I have been accepting donations, but it has been to help the projects, not me personally.

New music!

Our latest album, “Nowhere”, is now available in its entirety at https://witchdance.bandcamp.com/album/nowhere for your listening pleasure.

If you enjoyed “51 Miles from Nowhere”, our first release (under our former name, @DoctorDeathray and Her Implements of Destruction) then you’re in for a treat on this second album - it’s what you loved about our first, but more so. In my opinion, it’s a great listen, and I am clearly not biased in the slightest.

So, grab yourself a copy, send a copy to a friend, and pre-order the vinyl physical release to give yourself a nice autumnal treat!

And if you’re in the area, we’ll be playing at https://www.starbaratl.bar/ in Atlanta on July 3rd along with Mostly Strangers, Las Suegra Ska, and Bad Liars - come see the show!
