Just enforces the point: a menu bar is an educational tool with discoverability built in, just as much as anything else.

I have very strong feelings about this, and it's why I think the menu bar should always be visible in iPad windowing mode

One of the most important aspects of disability pride for me is to counter the shame. The shame of “being different,” the shame of “needing help,” the shame of “being a burden,” the shame from the humiliation and abuse I have experienced.

Disability pride gives me the chance to counter the shame by saying, “I am disabled, and I am proud to exist and be who I am.”

I’m glad that he’s at least no longer actively broadcasting that stance, but since I couldn’t find any kind of post acknowledging the removal or indicating that he changed his views, it unfortunately just looks like he’s trying to make it go away and avoid taking any responsibility for himself.
