Think what they’re saying:
If you don’t want children killed, you hate all Jews. Ergo, all Jews want children killed.
News flash: Implying that all Jews want children killed is antisemitic.
If you don’t want civilians killed, you hate all Jews. Ergo, all Jews want civilians killed.

Repeat after me: Zionists are antisemites.

chrome devs: OK well we're probably going to do it anyway because we can't be bothered to support web standards. uwu google is only a teensy wee company uwu

Here's our official policy on law enforcement contact. My trusted #running headphones shed the silicon earpad from one side after my last run. I've had them for a few years, so by modern standards they were due for replacement. But I didn't give up and glued it back, by its very thin edge. It seemingly stuck just fine, but when I was wiping the whole thing off with alcohol, the part attaching the earpiece to the headband just cracked and stopped being functional. So yeah, I'm getting a new pair… (Shokz OpenMove)

when I was a teenager, long before cloud backups existed (we're talking the IDE HDD era here), I had a drive failure. I lost 5 years of programming projects. I don't know that anything in there would be useful today, but it was a record of my entry into the subject and two decades later I'm still sad about it.

This is because of the UK's new Online Safety Act of 2023. It requires site owners to moderate content "considered harmful" to minors; meaning, anything the government doesn't like.
Extremely orwellian law and I have mad respect for lgbtqia's banner they now serve to UK visitors:

The problem, of course, is that the full story is *boring*. It's nuanced, undramatic, and full of tedious technical details. But you have to engage with it to make actual progress.

An essential dilemma of election security research is that activists and true believers selectively cherrypick findings to make unsupportable or misleading claims.
There *are* real vulnerabilities in many US election systems, and we have to discuss them in order to identify and mitigate them. But that isn't the same as saying that any election has been hacked or rigged (something there's no evidence of).
I don't know of any way to counter cherrypicking other than just telling the whole story.

Imagine you're a professional magician at a magic conference. 95% of the attendees are other magicians, looking to improve their craft and learn new ideas.
But 5% of the people there are self-appointed "investigators", seeking evidence that magic involves *actual* supernatural powers. To them, all the workshops, lectures, and literature about sleight of hand and technique are part of an elaborate subterfuge by elite magicians to hide the truth.
That's what working in election security is like.
