And now thanks to @chaosexanima I can show you how the retractation works:
- you get a notification when someone quotes you
- on their post, you have a new menu to remove their quote of your post
- you confirm, and your quote is removed and shown as having been retracted
- the quote is no longer displayed on the original post

A screenshot of the Mastodon interface showing a post by Echo quoting one of mine, with the post menu open and a new "Remove my post from @echo's post" item
A screenshot of a Mastodon confirmation modal, titled "Remove post?", with "This action cannot be undone." as text, a "Cancel" button, and "Remove post" button

Lambda calculus specifically has been used this way by multiple different generations of nerd-poseurs! Remember that early LISPers at Stanford started the "Knights of Lambda Calculus" secret society & then it turned out that most of them thought LISP and lambda calculus were the same thing.

(It's probably because of the influence of this group that the current crowd has attached itself)

Ameliorate the precariat. Practice social solidarity. Refuse & oppose the data centers.

Zionism is, and always has been, a genocidal, settler colonial project.

It is the justification for and the ideology behind the literal genocide that is being committed by Israel right now, at this very moment, against the Palestinian people. A genocide that is being live streamed in posts here and elsewhere by its victims.

To equate all Jews with Zionism, as Zionists do – in other words, to state that all Jews are genocidal settler-colonialists – is antisemitic.

(Equally, it is antisemitic to portray opposition to Zionism and genocide as antisemitic.)

TL; DR: Zionists are antisemites.

Be our voice, do something to stop them!

This is a straightforward, somewhat abstract, composition, emphasizing scale and lines. It converges out of sight below the foreground pier, suggesting an infinite roadway.

I shot this several times, day and night, and the nighttime image, in which the steelwork under the bridge is closer in brightness to the sky, was much more interesting. The cloudy night helps, too.
