The Gaza genocide is not merely another imperial war on an Arab population. It is not even a war against a national liberation movement, like the failed US invasions of Vietnam and Cuba.
It is quite literally the fascistic eradication of the Palestinians who live in Gaza.

Hey everyone, every Tuesday, my friend @Aseelsehwel asks for your help to feed her family. She can’t do it today (they’re trying to stay alive during a genocide) so she asked if I could do it on her behalf.
They need $500 each week for their family of 6.
Every single dollar makes a real difference If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing – it might reach someone who can help.
Thank you so much for your continued kindness and support.

So, suppose I'm setting up a Linux-based file server, for Linux-based clients.
Which protocol / server software should I use?
I'm talking about live access to the files on the server, not syncing and stuff. What's stable, secure, and fast (in that order)?
I'd like transparent access, i.e. mount it onto the client machine. It should be able to gracefully deal with disconnects and reconnects.
If there's an option I'm missing, feel free to comment. I'm not considering FTP though. :P

I'm deeply not convinced this "high risk conditions for the covid vaccine" list is going to work for everyone because I am inarguably high risk (I literally had chronic lung damage after covid) and even before this a pharmacist went ballistic on me & denied a booster once saying only cancer or HIV would qualify. It's gonna be a tough time.

Latest academic spam/scam: being overwhelmed with solicitations from recommendation letter mills, where they pay professors to write (or just sign) "evaluations" on behalf of foreign students, apparently for visa purposes.
Sometimes the spam comes directly from individuals, but now I'm getting services that arrange this trying to recruit me.
While I'm certainly sympathetic to the plight of talented students who want to study or move here, this has red flags all over it.
Stay the hell away.

In 2009, I was fortunate to join a "top to bottom" tour of former Air Force Titan ICBM site 571-7, now preserved as a museum. Titan II missiles carried a nine megaton(!) "physics package" in the "reentry vehicle" (which they emphatically assured me had been removed from this missile, but I still wouldn't advise upsetting them too much).
