No words in the world can describe how tough the tent life is.

In the tent, you wake up in the early morning because you'll not bear the heat once the sun rises.

In the tent, you'll see all kind of insects all the time. The worse? You might find a snake beside you and it happened many times with us and with our neighbours.

In the tent there is no privacy. You don't have even a space to cry with yourself!

What living in a tent looks like?

In December 2023, we were ordered to evacuate under fire. We went to Shuhdaa Al-Aqsa hospital in Deir alBalah because it was night and we had nowhere to go.

In that night, we slept on the land. It was a very cold night.

Two days later, we managed to move to Rafah. We set up a tent there and the very tough life began.

In May 2024, we were ordered to evacuate from Rafah. We went to Mawwasi Khanyounis and we spent 9 months there.

Hello everyone! I am Joy, a Palestinian writer and poet, I have just migrated from Blue Sky platform, after they deleted my accounts after I received a lot of interest, followers and fans for my writings and poems that I published on my personal page. Blue Sky platform decided that they will fight all Palestinian writers, and the only accusation is their nationality and their voice that they chose to silence and bury alive, but I am here now to complete my journey 💗

Attention clilol users: I'm moving all development off of Github to @Codeberg starting tonight. You'll find the code and associated bits like the Homebrew tap at https://codeberg.org/mcornick

I moved it off Github to self-hosted Git once before, but moved back considering it a necessary evil to allow more people to contribute. Well, more people didn't contribute, and Github became more evil than necessary. Codeberg seems to be on the right side of things, and presents no greater barrier to contribution than Github does, so Codeberg it is.

The existing repos on Github have been archived, and I'll leave them that way at least for the time being. Any AI scraping has likely already been done, so pulling them down won't change anything. But they won't get any more updates.

Thanks, as always, for your attention.

GitHub straight up blocked a woman from the community org for writing this in the discussion about Grok in Copilot. The entire situation is growing exponentially more distasteful the longer they choose to censor rather than respond. This is just so, so shameful.

A message posted by user @akiraveliara, which GitHub marked as "disruptive content" and hid: "For GitHub, a company which prides itself on supporting its developers, to collaborate with Elon Musk and his company, whose primary raison d'être is to provide an electronic nazi to his godforsaken platform as if there weren't too many of them to begin with, is, quite frankly, disgraceful. Elon Musk and his actions have threatened and are threatening the livelihoods of so many of us, all across the world, and I believe that every last one of us has a moral duty to oppose the spread of fascism in general and people along the lines of Elon Musk in specific, not to give them money to integrate their LLM. GitHub has already strained my, and judging by this thread many others', patience considerably with the entire copilot business. As far as I am concerned, copilot was unethical enough - training without consent on code people like myself upload to this platform with the intention to help other humans, and aggressively marketing and integrating it with other Microsoft products for questionable benefits, if any - but integrating Grok, which exhibits all these issues while also being built by a Nazi for the purposes of spreading Nazi propaganda on his Nazi platform, takes this disrespect of developers to a new level. May no grass grow on your pastures until the day MechaHitler has met the fate of its idol."

This is really more a study in lines than anything else. The simple, unadorned design of the derelict building invites interpreting and exploring abstract forms.

Last I checked, this building, from Treasure Island's time as a naval base, was still standing, but the vegetation is definitely winning.
