The reason we're releasing this in theatres is because it's incredibly fun to watch in a room full of people. People lose their minds at it. We want people to watch it together.

So! Do you run or know somebody who runs an indie theatre?

If so, contact us, and we'll let you screen it for free.

A very big Onion announcement:

The Onion has spent the last two months working on a masterpiece.

It's a documentary titled Jeffrey Epstein: Bad Pedophile.

It's so good, in fact, we were set to release it in theatres nationwide on October 2nd.

Then two weeks ago, Charlie Kirk was shot.

Photo by Ben Collins on September 25, 2025. May be a graphic of poster and text that says 'JEFFREYEPSTEIN: JEFFREY EPSTEIN: AD PEDOPHIL'.

Similarities can and probably have been made to the case of Epic v. Apple in US courts, wherein Apple did everything they could to piss off the judge, to the point where her statement of "No more delays, no more tricks, just do what I've told you" was filled with substantial ire and between-the-lines derision.

(The fact that Apple's whiny efforts to deny the need to fulfill the order basically boiled down to 'but it'll cost us money' didn't help.)

You can tell the tech press is cooked because 95% of them can connect the dots. Apple's regulatory playbook is the same that Big Oil and Big Tobacco use: delay == winning. The steps:

- try corruption (a.k.a. "lobbying" usually works)
- plant fake "think tanks" (ACT, etc.)
- set up false comparison points with public
- petulance when laws pass
- market "compliance" (but do not comply)
- appeal to public, claim law hurts kittens ("jobs", "privacy", "american pie")

Well, it's here. Compulsory ID cards. #UKPol

"Starmer to require all UK adults to own government-issued digital ID The prime minister is set to announce that all adults in the UK will be required to own a new form of government-issued digital ID. It is understood that Sir Keir Starmer will set out the plans shortly. The proposals are the government's latest bid to tackle illegal immigration, with the new ID being a form of proof of a citizen's right to live and work in the UK. The so-called 'Brit card' will be subject to a consultation and would require legislation to be passed, before being rolled out. Under the proposals, anybody starting a new job would be required to hold the digital ID, which could then be checked against a central database of those with the right to work in the UK. At the moment, workers have to show at least one form of physical ID in the form of documents - but there are concerns within government that these can be faked. Under the new system, immigration enforcement would be able to see which checks have been carried out and use it to track down those working illegally. "
