It reminds me that resistance doesn’t always roil and riot — sometimes it laughs, shines a light, and refuses to be afraid.

We need more of that.

Hegseth is breaking the law.

This act requires appropriated funds be used only for the objects (purposes & programs) for which appropriations were made.

Man, if my choices are "be slower than the AI bros" or "LARP as a productivity grifter in order to convince my computer to write better tests" I'd rather just move to the mountains. Every time I read one of these agent transcripts, the second-hand embarrassment is smothering.

It's telling to me that the "sensible" LLM advocates are all like "wow, this guy's really onto something," and not "thumbs were a mistake."

An LLM user writes a scenario for the computer where it has to quickly choose between two actions, following con artist Robert Cialdini's principles of persuasion, apparently.

Look, my proposal is really very simple: you can be a millionaire 999 times over, in perpetuity, but if you can't figure out something to do with assets above that line, we should build some schools, feed some kids, and eliminate medical bankruptcy.

Using the Federal government to outlaw a political party because some with leftist views are violent protestors is so UNAMERICAN .

@fromjason I am saying that for years. At some point it became the edgy thing to hate this band when you could just as easily ignore it. And if you take into consideration that they are a pop band, always were a pop band and never had any other aspiration than just being a pop band, you could be just pretty chill about them.

And the first two records are pop masterpieces as you stated.
