Technically it's 6.5 cats as one of the cats got so annoyed at all of the new cats that she moved to the garden centre across the street where the staff take good care of her. She returns to her old home for the worst storms, so her heading back is a reliable indicator that bad weather is on its way

According to the inhabitant who has been here the longest, the older portions of the house used to have a massive mouse problem but that hasn't been an issue since the cats arrived
