How broken is today's frontend culture?

@fugueish points out that the median *mobile* page is now larger than a copy of DOOM (2.6 MiB vs. 2.48 MiB), the P75 page is larger than 2 DOOMs, and the P90 mobile page is 4.5x the size of DOOM:

Summer has opinions.
Usually we agree.
Thank goodness.
Today she was helping me get dressed after a shower. I don't always get this level of attention but she helps her pal everyday. He keeps a basket of clean socks just so she can fetch a pair for him. She has skills and loves to help so it works.
Picking out the right t-shirt for me to wear is another important job.
Summer thinks about it for a minute and makes a choice. She doesn't even mess up the ones she leaves behind.
Helping her fulfill her need to be needed brings us all joy.

@fromjason I still can't believe that Dems still can't figure this out.

It's so fucking plainly obvious, people tell them exactly what the problem is, it feels like a huge chunk of democrats are really not even democrats, they are just pro-capitalist and throw the working class a bone now and again. Anything that keeps their idea of "compassionate capitalism" alive.

Just saw that some ̶3̶0̶-̶4̶0̶ 86 house democrats voted to denounce "socialism."

A lot of #liberals are celebrating but completely lost on them that so much of the egregious shit coming from the #MAGA movement is foreign influence.

I'm *not* saying MAGA are the good guys here, but maybe, just maybe, there are more poor people who were simply desperate for change so they voted for the only guy offering it (even though it was a lie), than we want to believe

Because if that's true, then #Democrats really fucked up with the "we're not Trump" strategy

that's not how LLMs work. they are stateless. their "minds" are born fresh and new in this world with each prompt and cease to exist as soon as they stop generating. they don't think because they don't "exist" in the sense that a being with a brain that functions over time exists. Sam Altman wants people to **think** the LLM is "out there" somewhere, waiting to hear from you. it's a lie.
