the big problem with that Adversarial Poetry versus AI paper is that they did half the work with chatbots and not humans.

they translated prompts into poems using chatbots.

then they judged how well the poems jailbroke the chatbots using other chatbots to do the judging?!

Looking over the work, I can see no reason it requires chatbots to do these jobs. This was gratuitous, lazy and should be a discredit to these researchers.

I wonder what the mix of technologies looks like over time. Are these pages growing because they’re jQuery sites being replaced by React, or because they’re React sites upgrading to newer heavier dependency versions? I would like to see a breakdown of page weight by technology stack.

We have a mailing list that we put on our blog whenever we announce some new merch is being worked on. Roughly half of the plushies have been sold before we posted about it on #Mastodon, just from that mailing list (and people checking the shop manually, I guess). And those new sticker sheets got sold out fully (but are being restocked, hopefully within the week).

You may have seen it over on @Mastodon, but in case not: The new plushies are now live on the shop, alongside restocked and new mugs. Shipping to EU, UK, Switzerland, Norway, and the US. We decided to allow orders from the US, but shipping is what it is (from Germany).

Soaring #electricity prices are triggering a wave of power shutoffs nationwide, leaving more Americans in the dark as unpaid #bills pile up.
