Javascript user for many years -- but only recently a convert. Turns out, if you ignore the modern development practices weighing the whole ecosystem down and just focus on using the core language, it's not too bad! I mentioned the other day to my boyfriend that I relate to MB's world-weary snark and its irritation at having to constantly solve other people's problems (because they're too dim, slow, or inattentive) without much in the way of reward.

It's MB's awkward anti-social personality that starts to wear on me, but that's also what some people find most relatable.
