Just saw a video where the creator made the comment "If you think you're autistic, treat yourself as if you were. Allistic people don't typically spend weeks and months doing research and trying to decide if they are autistic."

And again I am struck by the similarity with me of 4 years ago trying to figure out if I really was trans. Just replace "autistic/allistic" with "trans/cis" and it's deja vu all over again.

And that "small caps" is translated as "hásteflingar"

For fun, I checked what google translate thinks. It translates

"hásteflingar": "high stakes"
"tjámerki": "expression mark"

The "tjámerki" translation is at least compositionally correct

If a tool is being used to give a voice to marginalized people who would otherwise be ignored, and a bunch of white guys are doing a significant amount of complaining about that tool, maybe that’s a good sign to think twice before blindly internalizing their rhetoric.
