I've said before: even if we *could* make #AGI out of the disaster that is LLM-Chatbots, and even if we could *guarantee* that it was beneficent, it would still destroy us simply as a function of its power and water requirements.

We already have an incredible General Intelligence with untapped potential: humanity, and the social structures that let humanity work together to study and solve problems.

AGI is variously a distraction or a slavery-fantasy. There is no merit to it in current form.
