A few people commented they dislike the term "POC" and I agree. It's useful when describing the collective minority within a predominately white space, but outside of that, there's no binding agent and the term degrades fast.

Like, someone commented "I love POCs, but..." Excusing the "but" for a moment, you "love POCs"? Like a bag of peanut M&Ms? What is uniting us in your mind?

There's a famous tweet that said "I love POC food." WHAT IS POC FOOD? lmao

I've said before: even if we *could* make #AGI out of the disaster that is LLM-Chatbots, and even if we could *guarantee* that it was beneficent, it would still destroy us simply as a function of its power and water requirements.

We already have an incredible General Intelligence with untapped potential: humanity, and the social structures that let humanity work together to study and solve problems.

AGI is variously a distraction or a slavery-fantasy. There is no merit to it in current form.

A lush forest scenery with waterfalls surrounding the center of attention. Seeming dissimilar characters are meeting each other for the first time? A friendly old stone lady covered with fancy moss, sitting comfortably, holding a stick in one arm and a tiny person in an orange raincoat in the other. Both look curious at each other. While intrigued by these two creatures and what they are talking about, we will leave them be and let them chat about their marvelous adventures. Maybe they will look up and greet us soon. Whatever you two are talking about, I'll only listen from the mouth of a POC, and I'll only join a conversation on the topic if provided a link to the mentioned post, else l'il just consider it as "virtue baiting from self-designated allies" (and so far, the bait has worked, congrats).
