The seminar series is fully online and as long as you have something interesting to tell related to low carbon and sustainable computing, #FrugalComputing, #Permacomputing etc, I'd love to hear from you.

Here are recordings and slides of this semester's talks. Thanks to all the speakers! @SylviaFysica @danmcquillan @ana_valdi @thomasfricke

this is the only post about Mozilla drama you'll get from me, because a) I'm tired, b) I'll be on vacation starting tomorrow evening, c) most of y'all have either already used your brains, or you just want to knee-jerk - which is fine, too.

in any case, don't listen to me, because lots of folks will claim I'm biased anyway (which, tbh, is fair, given I like having a paycheck). so instead, check out this post from a community contributor who isn't paid, and who has no reason to be nice if he doesn't want to be nice:

This post is a good example of why truth and factuality aren’t the same thing. This is the most viscerally true thing I’ve read in a long while, but the degree to which it’s factual or not is largely irrelevant. It feels like a kick in the gut nonetheless

(It is tagged as ‘non-fiction’, so it probably is factual)

So, if you too are asked about email accounts at Christmas, you can suggest message.casa ;-)
