What appears at first to be the Jurassic Park logo: a red circle with yellow outline containing the silhouette of an animal with text overlaid. But the silhouette is of a giraffe, and the text reads "Giraffic Park".

Ken has done some incredible work, so nothing against him. But, he right.

There is a thin line between news and soap opera, both in how it’s delivered and how it’s consumed.

A photo from the inside of a train. Looks like an ICE4, BR412 - because that's what it is. The photo is taken from my point of view - sitting in 1st class on a four-people row with two sets of opposing chairs. The table in font of me is extended, and there's a closed laptop on it, next to a bag of what looks like bakery food, and a white refillable water bottle with an 8-bit heart on it. There are no other humans on the photo, the other seats are empty.

My controversial take:

Linux desktops peaked with KDE 3.5.x. (Gnome is a ghastly abomination and KDE's been going downhill ever since.)

macOS desktops peaked with Snow Leopard (10.6). Everything since then has gone downhill in UX. (Honourable exception: filesystems and backup support. But those are below the desktop level ...)

Windows never had a peak to fall off and has been subterranean for decades. Put it out of its misery and start over from IBM's mid-80s CUI spec.
