I guess my New Year resolution has formed in the last few days: I want to finish watching Campaign 3 of Critical Role. I started, I think, in 2024, but haven't been invested in the gameplay for a while. Still, at 105 out of 122 episodes I kinda wanna know how it ends.

I have covered this app for months, showing where it gets data from, how it is being used on American streets, and DHS's plan to roll out a stripped down version to local police. You wouldn't get that impression from reading this piece, it would appear new to you.

Yet, note taking apps charge ten bucks a month for life, for compute located 300 miles away, storage I don't need, and sync-and-share abilities I already pay for.
