I want to share some music of Bob Weir playing with the Grateful Dead that really captures the essence of what makes him such a remarkable player. This performance is from a benefit concert for the Springfield Creamery performed in Veneta OR. A classic performance that was the basis for the film Sunshine Daydream and would eventually be officially released by the band.
I'd also love to check out your favorite Bob Weir performances, so if ya got some, please share.
The song Playing In The Band was written by Bob Weir and Robert Hunter. It became a vehicle for experimentation and improvisation. This version is particularly intense and well played. On the official release, Bobby's guitar gets a little bit buried in the mix. But the band released a multi track version on their website that allows fans to make their own mix. So this is my Bob Weir semi isolated mix, where hopefully one can hear the whole band, but Bob's guitar is way out front. The first three minutes or so is the structured part of the song, and then the fireworks really start. Check it out!
If you want to play with the multitracks yourself, here is the link. It is not mobile friendly.

Those are huge compared to the wild turkeys I see here on the West Coast. I'd be cautious too.
