I genuinely think the Icelandic government should reject this proposed ambassador outright. It's impractical to have an ambassador who jokes about invading the host country. Generally not considered to be good diplomatic practice.

People are fed up, and there's a general understanding that the time for peaceful protest is over. Don't get me wrong, they were important to do, to show dissent to the power and to show ourselves that there's a lot of us. But now it's just getting to a point where they "make the violent revolution inevitable" (quoting JFK).

They came to a Spanish speaking household who refused to comply with illegal orders.

Instead the family called their local police for assistance.

Their side of that call was recorded and posted online this morning.
