Chuck Schumer again says that in 2026 Senate Dems will be focused on “affordability.” He is a disgrace as Senate minority leader. The Trump executive branch is occupying a U.S. city, rounding up people on the basis of their skin color, shooting at and killing citizens for peacefully protesting and observing. That’s the imperative focus.

XScreenSaver 6.14 is out now, including iOS (soon) and Android. A whopping eighteen new savers this time! As I mentioned last month, I wrote a new XScreenSaver module that is API-compatible with Shadertoy, which means that I am now able to pull demos written that way into the XScreenSaver fold. These 18 savers are the first of that batch...

People are fed up, and there's a general understanding that the time for peaceful protest is over. Don't get me wrong, they were important to do, to show dissent to the power and to show ourselves that there's a lot of us. But now it's just getting to a point where they "make the violent revolution inevitable" (quoting JFK).

Alright in the light of morning more details are coming out.
It appears the initial ICE shooting incident occurred as ICE attempted to go door to door last night.
They came to a Spanish speaking household who refused to comply with illegal orders.
Instead the family called their local police for assistance.
Their side of that call was recorded and posted online this morning.

Schrödinger's Mask.
Aren't masks amazing? When it comes to disease, their use is an imminent threat to an officer's health and safety, but when it comes to accountability, their absence is an imminent threat to an officer's health and safety.
Who could have predicted this outcome except everybody:
LA County's mask ordinance is now in effect, but law enforcement and LA officials are declining to enforce it against ICE:
