"AI" is not actually a technology, in the way people would commonly understand that term.

If you're feeling extremely generous, you could say that AI is a marketing term for a loose and shifting bundle of technologies that have specific useful applications.

I am not feeling so generous.

AI is a technocratic political project for the purpose of industrializing knowledge work. The details of how it works are a distant secondary concern to the effect it has, which is to enclose and capture all knowledge work and make it dependent on capital.

My "Infinity Journal" was working well then I just forgot about it lol and reverted to my old process/system. But I'm picking it up again because I enjoyed using it and it was helpful. It was like a journal, to-do, and meeting notes all in one.

A screenshot of my notes app with the entry title "Infinity Journal". You can see each day was mapped out with to-do and motivating words.

Manual cover page of the Eliza implementation for the TRS-80 computer. Written on top of a woman face profile illustration drawn with a 19th century US old west style and chignon (or something like that..), we can read "How do you do? My name is Eliza. What is your problem?". The main title of the cover reads "The Amazing Artificial Intelligence Simulation".

No speculation, please. Yes I know it is an ambiguous file name. Do not just google it for me.

I think about Awilda a lot. She and her siblings grew up in arguably the toughest area in the US at the time—The Bronx.

There was a heroin epidemic followed by the borough literally burning.

She found a way out, though. They all did eventually.
