I saw a post here weeks ago that defended RSVPing to protests, saying "we should put our names on every list we can," and it's like no. No you shouldn't. The FBI is using a 3 year old incident that ultimately led to the murder of a protester, as grounds for collecting private data from someone who's only connection to that incident is that they also oppose Cop City.

This is why I wince whenever I see photos of protesters posted to social media, or people RSVPing to protests. Our government considers you domestic terrorists no matter how much you "follow the rules".

There was a video circulating at the time of officers near the murder claiming it was friendly fire. And still, no gun powder found on victim's hands.
