I saw a post here weeks ago that defended RSVPing to protests, saying "we should put our names on every list we can," and it's like no. No you shouldn't. One of the biggest obstacles was the threat of actually good programs being de-funded because of the way Hochul/ NYS bundles mass surveillance with other programs in grant allocations.
