Question for #mastodon / #gotosocial folks... Has anyone come across any good, advanced tools for user management?
I want something that not only tells me if they are a mutual, but also how posts the account has made over say the last 6 months, how many boosts, how many comments / replies... Also, some indication if the account is automated...
And something that lets me unfollow in bulk.

I have written a sample letter that you can use to invite organizations to join the #Fediverse.
The letter is shared under a #CC0 license. Feel free to copy, adapt and send it to organizations that still rely on #BigTech.

@adele suggested that #gotosocial was a good replacement for the classic blog, as:
gotosocial allows #markdown formatting in posts.
the maximum post length can be adjusted above the default 5000 using statuses-max-chars in gotosocial's config.yaml
What this actually means for the #fediverse I'm not sure, as it could break things. If anyone has any deeper info on this I'd love to know.

Quite honestly, it is very impressive that @letsencrypt has a little down time as it does. The certificate world is full of landmines that themselves have small poison darts that fire randomly. To issue a metric ton of certificates with this little outage is an accomplishment.
So have an outage. As a treat.

Excited to try a new Xiegu G106 firmware update that claims to improve the AGC. Right after transmitting it sometimes passes through a burst of loud signal… fingers crossed that's what got fixed.
The instructions provided from the manufacturer are for Windows. On #Linux you can use "screen" to trigger the firmware erase and "sx" (found in the "lrzsz" package) to transfer the file.
