OK #Firefox users, this is a special request. I'm looking for someone with a high-end Raptor Lake machine that is experiencing instability in Firefox (or anything else for the matter). The best candidate is a CPU from the 13900* SKUs. K or not doesn't matter as long as it's one with the 8P+16E cores.

We have a potential workaround for one of the most common bugs of this CPU, but we need a broken machine to test it.

They're 2133 x 2133 pixels and I'll send you the PNG and a PSD if you want it

I can probably figure out how to make them actually replace the finder icon if you use a Mac, too

Algo-speak is a language of fascism in my eyes.
It's dehumanising, culture-erasing (algorithms are biased to "White English") and disarming.

The appropriation (something new I learnt) is a "great" example of it. If you want an Eastern Bloc equivalent of this, I recommend looking up "Normalization in Czechoslovakia".

I have invented a new dessert.

I started by robbing a trainload of ice cream. Then I combined that with some sugar I "harvested" from my neighbor's kitchen. Then, I mix it all together, and spoonfeed it to your boss until he gets all sugar high. Then, I jack up the price to $100/mo and use that money to hire more train robbers.

I call it "Agentic Ice Cream" and I'm doing a funding round now. Free enterprise, baby.

I spent the entire day making a list of all the things I accomplished in the last few years because i literally forget things I've made, projects I've completed, and I get sad that I'm not making progress in the things I want to accomplish lol.

It's like my brain tricks me into believing I have not made any progress on something and then when I go look in my files or notes I see that I'm actually like 90% done I just forgot about it. *Routinely*

So that's cool. 😂🫠😬🫠🫠🫠

That One Draft Post (you know the one) that I've been working on for [unintelligible] months now had me wondering if I even remember how to _finish_ something, so, this was a brief interlude where I checked to see if I could in fact still do that. And also I wanted to write a little bit about #Python programming (a thing I actually like) and not just more about AI

Can't emphasise how much I feel these are exactly the sort of use cases and users the web was made for: "hobbyists, hackers, educators, makers and developers"! Not everything has to be about corporate bottom lines sometimes the web can just be for fun tinkering (but also lots of real world use too)!
