I just realized an RSS feed I have hasn't updated since April. I went to double check the URL in case they moved it as people often do, but no, that was fine. And then I realized they've put their entire site behind some sort of cloudflare protection, probably because of all the aggressive LLM scraping (and they are a bunch of artists to boot), and this "protection" just so happens to also return a 403 to my feed reader. 😩

What do I mean by "soft launch"? I know the website is incomplete and still kinda sucks, I have limited availability for now until I get through my surgery next month, and my portfolio is still a bit thin.

This is the way. Unless the profits from data centers return to communities, it's just extraction.

And data centers don't really bring that many jobs. They're a few guys replacing parts as stuff burns out. Maintenance on power feeds. But mostly they sit there, trying to stay cool.
