As a *technology*, ionizing radiation isn't exceptional. It's not exceptionally wicked. It's not exceptionally good. Take away the accompanying risk of global thermonuclear war, and we'd call radiation's applications "plug-ins" and we'd use them and abuse them in the same way we've used every other technology.

i mean yes of course we're winning, even my elderly dad who uses his computer mostly to send email fucking despises AI. i know this because every time i call him he gets in a good 20 minutes of complaining about it.

but what's interesting is the believers now seem to think it too.

holy shit... are we winning? 😂

cause like, you know... it used to be that it was the path of least social resistance to pretend it wasn't a load of bollocks.

Map of Europe showing red lines connecting my location with the locations of the stations I contacted. It looks pretty.
Looking towards sunset, the sun is low and obscured by a layer of cloud but the sky is mostly clear and blue with some strokes of white and orange clouds. In the foreground a dry grasses and other flora with some bushes along the sloping ridge of the hill we're on. A vertical antenna is shoved into the ground and reaches out of the top of the frame, you can make out the red coax snaking back to our POV
