Two small rocky islands at some distance in the middle of a blue seascape with bigger land masses on the horizon. The islands are jutting straight up from the water and capped with forest.

And with this and the Channel 4 documentary aimed at casting doubt about the validity of ADHD as a diagnosis, it's looking pretty clear that the next target of this same group's divide-and-conquer tactics is going to be disability activism.

Expect a whole flurry of pieces to be cropping up about how people are "appropriating" disability and how this is damaging to "real disabled people". Expect a lot of stuff pushing back against the social model of disability and calling for a return to medicalism. Expect dirty, humiliating, personal attacks on disability activists and any disabled person in the public eye. Expect it to all be couched in language that kinda sounds left-wing and rights-based, but isn't.

Don't fall for any of it. Push back against this, push back against transphobia, fight them on all fronts. Because there are many more of us than them.

Comic in 4 panels. First panel is a screenshot of a post by Threads user kavishj611 All the people who are anti-Al or want to slow Al progress, I have one question: If Al disappeared tomorrow, could you still get through an entire workday without ChatGPT, Claude, or any other Al tool? Imagine Al was suddenly banned. Would you actually be willing to give it up? Second panel is two people in a room slowly filling up with raw sewage. Smug guy says “ok Mr ‘I dont want to be in a room filling up with raw sewage’, let me ask you this Third, the room is halfway filled, smug guy says “if all this sewage disappeared right now, could you get through the day without it?” Last panel, the level of sewage is reaching the people’s faces, smug guy says “look at that shit floating past your face. Are you willing to give that up?”

@cwebber @davidrevoy @spritely i had this theory that if i made my code wierd enough and/or had vulgar comments then maybe it would get scored really low in training sets and be largely ignored, but I've yet to put either of these ideas to the test. hoot being widely ripped off makes me think perhaps this is an opportunity to back door specific practices into the industry at least, in a cursed monkey paw sort of way
