Two things:

Screenshot Wikipedia article about Tendril perversion. A geometric phenomenon when a spiralled chord messes up in one place. Disclaimer before the article: This article is about the geometric phenomenon. For the pornographic genre, see tentacle erotica. Article: Tendril perversion is a geometric phenomenon sometimes observed in helical structures in which the direction of the helix transitions between left-handed and right-handed. Such a reversal of chirality is commonly seen in helical plant tendrils and telephone handset cords. Drawing of a ranking plant with tendril perversion. I just wanna give a personal thanks to everybody out there for all the community support for @wwu

Community pressure *does* work and *has* helped us in negotiations.

Workers at Wikimedia Foundation just want to do their jobs effectively without interference or fear of losing their jobs. And those jobs are to support the communities of editors, readers, outreachers, organizers, fact-checkers, template writers, module debuggers, and more who make Wikipedia and its sister projects happen.

Plus, I get the impression that chronic stress (to be distinguished from the acute "oops, there is a deadline To Do in 2 hours" stress) makes my ADHD symptoms worse. Worsening symptoms likely feeds into chronic stress. This is not a fun cycle to be in.

Unfortunately the society we have built seems to be adapted to providing a bunch of chronic stress. I genuinely don't understand how people who aren't me cope
