To be clear, I *know* of like 10 different services which I could probably make the case for at least some of this stuff, so I don't need you to do a research project for me here just to find hosting services, what I want is strongly-held opinions about a best practice in this area. Ideally something that you've used, but fine if it's just something that you've heard positive opinions about.

Let's say I'm teaching someone to code. What's the best option for a place for them to be able to host a website that is:

A) able to run arbitrary code[1]
B) self-contained; I don't want to set up 5 different services
C) as cheap as humanly possible

[1]: in my case I care the most about being able to run a docker container that can listen on an arbitrary network socket, but for services that hit B and C really hard I would be OK being restricted to Python and/or HTTPS if that were the tradeoff
