Anxiety is such a weird thing… I'm a grown-ass man, with life and family, having worked with many very different people in different countries. And yet, needed to call an unfamiliar business to discuss an appointment — it took me weeks to work myself up to do it, and after 4 minutes I'm all sweaty and have to walk back and forth to calm down!
