Yesterday, in the face of active turmoil surrounding the Bluesky CEO’s disgusting treatment of trans people on her platform, Manton Reece (owner of Micro.blog) posted a message praising that very CEO and her “strong principles and vision.”
Even after multiple people pointed out how terrible and insensitive of a take that was, and even after the day passed, his post remains exactly as he wrote it. No retraction, no clarification.
He’s telling you exactly what he means.
