Check out the Suncor nodosaur discovered in Alberta, CA. This 100-million-year-old ankylosaur is among the best preserved dinosaurs ever discovered with keratin armor, skin pigment, tissue, and stomach contents. #Science #PaleoSky #Dinosaurs #Fossils 🧪 Source: commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:No...

The Suncor specimen is remarkable for its three-dimensional preservation of a large, articulated dinosaur complete with soft tissue. While many small dinosaurs have been preserved with traces of soft tissues and skin, they are usually flattened and compressed during fossilization.
