Vulcan Elements, a rare-earth magnets startup backed by Don Jr.’s VC firm 1789 Capital, has secured a $620M contract from the DOD, as reported by the FT.The contract is part of a $1.4B partnership with the US govt & ReElement Tech to expand & boost the dom supply of magnets, acc to the co.
Trump Jr joined 1789 Capital as a ptnr in 2024. The firm is said to have invested in Vulcan ~3 months ago.
