- A yellow warning sign that reads “Caution: Respirator Required Beyond This Point.” The sign is posted on a locked door inside The Pit, a series of R&D labs in a sub-sub-basement of ParaMorTorque, Inc. Bob stands outside the door in a bright orange Mylar suit. His respirator is, as the sign demands, securely attached to his face. He swipes his ID and punches in a passcode. The door slides open and a sulfurous blast hits Bob in the face. Bob steps inside the chamber and as the door slides shut behind him, he hears the chittering click-click-click of keratin claws on the concrete floor. (remote)
