Apparently I can have a cup of coffee with a harmless snake.
We visited the Snake Cafe before we left Taitung. The owner of the place is a retired professor with a research specialty in snakes. The cafe aims to be a place where people can know more about snakes (a "snake ecological education cafe"). It has a Facebook page:
