@arbres I’m so sorry that happened to you. Victim-blaming is the ultimate gut punch, the lowest blow to those who are already suffering. It’s also the entire first chapter in the playbook on deflecting focus and dodging accountability. When someone blames a victim, it’s because they know they’re holding the wrong belief and they need someone *else* to feel bad about that, so they don’t have to deal with it themselves.
