Why is it like that? I was reading a meta story about the case covering how the story had "broken containment" and made it into sources that normally avoid "political" news. It's legitimately a big story and there are consequential issues involved.
But ... it's also a story that that teaches helplessness, that can mean anything to anyone from "you see the deep state(tm) is still in control!" to "we always knew this is who Trump was"
Everyone talks and talks and learns nothing.
