That time has long since passed. Now it's all about having more, and, all the money. None of what the initial promises were and unfortunately it won't go back to those days. This is why I largely stay in the indieweb space. I'm starting to get to the point where I can't take the mainstream web and companies that take VC money. I try to avoid them when I can. @adam
