Sorry y'all. I am fully down this rabbit hole. I love a dark horse. Even if it's for a technology I'm not invested in.
And I love when capitalism sort of does its job, which seems rare. We have most of Silicon Valley trying to centralize compute with just one hold out—Apple.
Big tech's only hope is to codify a monopoly by outlawing local AI models. And boy, are they trying. But if Apple officially steps into the local AI market, that legislation seems harder to pass.
