- Bridalveil Falls I captured this image on the far banks of the Merced River looking across Yosemite Valley up at Bridalveil Falls. In the foreground of the image are the tree tops from the Douglass Fir forest growing up from the valley floor. The 617 foot waterfall that drops straight down sits left/center of the image and is flanked on both sides by the granite cliffs that help make the valley. (remote)
