(In case someone doesn't get this, maybe it's just the USA, but since before I was born, paper ads that showed up in your snail mail mailbox were called "junk mail." And even now, hotmail/outlook calls the "spam" folder where the annoying emails it knows you will never read the "junk" folder.)
